Publisher's Description:

iWatermark for Mac OS X - Protect and secure your photos. iWatermark is the easiest and most popular tool available for watermarking artwork, digital photos and other images that you can then put on the web or send via email. iWatermark can also create thumbnails. iWatermark provides a simple and efficient way to watermarking and creating thumbnails for images. It can process all the common image file formats. Also for the watermark you can use simple text or TIFF (Targered Image File Format) or PNG (Portable Network Graphic) images with masks for that professional feel and other supported images*. No matter what you choose to use as the watermark, you have control over the translucency of the watermark. To create thumbnails all you need to do is to choose the width and height and iWatermark will scale the image proportionally to fit within those boundaries. Why would you want to watermark? Watermarking your photography, digital images and other artwork is important in today's day and age. It ensures that anyone using your work has the basic understanding that it belongs to you. Otherwise it could be upsetting if someone or some firm obtained you work and used it without your permission. With a few clicks you can reduce the likelihood of your work being ripped off, by using iWatermark.

I am looking for a software/program that will put my watermark on my photos. Your software is good, but it reduces the size of the image to web ready size. I want to put the watermark but keep the file to the original size. Can your program do this?

I tested iwatermark for the mac and it seams to meet our needs. I created and manage a political & editorial cartoon site (www.zapiro.com) and need something to stop the steeling of our copyright, iwatermark is the answer

I have found the product to be versatile and very easy to use; however, I would like the ability to create and export my watermark as a JPG file for use in another program (Aperture).

iWatermark did not work as advertised. We were not able to place the watermark where we liked.

Opinion

I was actually wondering how to import a custom watermark to use in a batch. I couldn\'t figure it out. Thanks for your help

Poor Readability and Poor Quality

The quality is severely degraded and the layout/readability of the default types is terrible. The program, in theory, would be great if they spent a little more time on the back-end.

Watermarks, at a cost

I was rather surprised to see the quality of my JPG files reduced substantially by iWatermark. Perhaps there is a setting to fix this, but out of the box, my expectation was that the image quality would remain the same, and that the watermark would be added at that quality. Instead, there was a serious degradation of the image. I'm going to keep looking for another solution, alas.
